The average American breakfast, 2 eggs, 2 strips of bacon, that’s around 650! The average man in America is 5.7 and 195 pounds. If your dad’s around this area and does light exercising then he SHOULD lose weight, about 50 pounds, but if he wants to maintain that weight then he should eat 2200-2400 calories a day. Lets just say he wants to maintain that weight. Now, for lunch, your dad eats out, he has a Big Mac, Large Fries, and a large coke, that adds up to… 1330 calories! Now for dinner all your dad has left is 200-400 calories left! What’s he going to do! That’s less then his breakfast! The average American dinner is around 1500 calories!
If your dad is eating this much, then he’s eating 500 calories more then hes supposed to be eating if he wants to GAIN weight! I’m not saying all men are like this, but if your dad is and he needs some help, all he has to do is eat fruits for breakfast. Give him a bowl of fruits, and if he’s still hungry than give him a buttered English muffin. For lunch pack him a sandwich, maybe one of these. For dinner have one of these.
Now, I’m not saying you should count calories or anything like that, I’m saying start eating more natural and organic, also start reading the labels of foods you eat. You’re dad could be full at the end of the day from that breakfast, any of those sandwiches and any of those dinners and still be able to have some Lay’s Chips, while going well beneath the loss weight calorie count of 1700-1900, at 1100 calories!
